The Waterside Ikoyi:
Boats, water, class, beautiful people and a good time. That was the design brief when I was approached to brand a luxury boat club in Nigeria. No special problems to solve. No complex math and algorithms, just make a really cool brand. Have fun.
Defining the product
Well, we know it is boats, water, fun and luxury. So I start our research from there.
As always, so so many concepts were explored. And I zeroed in on a few that led us to a final one.
And the winner is
Well, this guy. Simple but imposing, easy to read and remember. Using simplicity to convey unparalleled class.
Of course there are rules
And that is why brand manuals exist. So I made one for this too.
